2009 JFA and JAY FAMILY REUNION

and inter-related families of

COPPOCK - COATE - ELLEMAN - MACY - PEMBERTON - PEARSON.

October 16 & 17, 2009

Troy, Ohio

The JAY families were pioneer settlers in the Union and Newton Townships of

western Miami County in the early 19th century. Many descendants still reside

in the area. This reunion is sponsored by the Jay Family Association and is

open to all Jay family descendants, inter-related families and anyone else who

has a love for family history, genealogy and a great time!

Admission is FREE

Main Event on Saturday, October 17, 2009

9:30 AM at the Brukner Nature Center in the Heidelberg Auditorium

The Brukner Nature is located approximately 7 miles west of Troy off Hwy 55

on Horseshoe Bend Rd. Presentations on Ohio and Indiana Quaker

Traditions and Life by Greg Hinshaw, JAY DNA Project Update and JAY

Family migrations out of South Carolina will be given. Lunch is provided by

the JFA. Family visiting, photo sharing and story telling! A scanner will be

available. Formal adjournment will be at 4:30 PM Saturday.

Historic Cemetery Tours on Friday, October 16, 2009

Meet 9:00 AM at the Residence Inn Meeting Room (87 Troy Town Drive) for

registration and welcome. 10:00 AM caravan tours of old Quaker burial

grounds within a 10 mile radius. A picnic lunch will be provided by the JFA.
